Refugees in America

 Refugees In America

While other Countries are less capable than America, and still taking in refugees, I STILL don't believe we are capable of sustaining a stable Country while doing so.  It has *NOTHING* to do with who they are, what they believe, or where they are from.  It's nothing like that at all.  We have over 500,000 people that are homeless now.  We are unable to feed, home, and employ them.  So how can we expect to be able to do the same for 100,000 more people by bringing them here?  It just doesn't make any sense to me, at all.  ISIS/ISIL was estimated to have roughly 50,000+ Members, mean while 4.1 Million Syrians are re-homing during the last few years??

Yes, States can deny refugees and make it harder for them to get into the States. BUT, that doesn't mean the President can't over-ride that decision...  Read into the "United States Refugee Act of 1980." (US Refugee Act 1980).  This is just some more info on the Refugee Police (Click Here).  Many States are requesting a stronger vet into the refugees.  But here's the thing, if little to nothing is left of Syria, how can we get background checks, medical records, educational records, criminal records, and/or more?  We simply can't, which is where my lack of understanding comes in.  What is REALLY going on?

Morals say take them in, and so does my heart and conscious...  But logic and realism tells me otherwise... I don't think I could be nearly as strong as they are in the situations that they are going through.  But that doesn't mean I think we should all bite the bullet.  Even if Obama is partly to blame.  I'm sorry, but I didn't vote for that fool.

Islamophobia is at an all time high, especially after the Paris Attacks.  So that doesn't help my concern for the refugees coming here neither.  It's *NOT* the reason I don't think they should come over.  But it is a factor, no matter how minuscule.  How safe are they really going to be?  Will it still be better than Syria?  Yes, of course.  I also get asked a lot, where should they go then?  Well, Japan and China can definitely take in more being they are 2nd and 3rd in Economy in the World.  I realize how harsh all this may sound, but it's time to think logically.

The United Nations has reported that America has provided the number one largest amount of support and aid to Syrian Refugee Crisis.  More than $574 Million ($574,000,000+) Dollars.  That's 31% of the Total Aid, by just the United States, still making it the largest support aid Country!  Since 09/11/2001, America has taken in over 2,000,000 migrants and refugees.  Yet, people want to slam us for not wanting to take in even more?!  Now, roughly 387,938 are refugees that from Muslim Countries and 76,728 asylees from those same Nations. On top of all this, America is 17+ TRILLION dollars in DEBT!  That's $17,000,000,000,000 and more!!!  Public debt is even worse, at 18.6+ trillion dollars!!!

We can't afford and do not have the resources to provide refugees free housing, health care, food, insurance, employment, utilities, clothing, and more!  It's that simple.  But of course, you're going to have people out there say you're just scared.  When in fact, it's that they are obviously under educated.  So don't take any offense when they speak.  They're just lacking, so help them instead of making the situation worse.

Supposedly, it's going to take TWO years for the refugees to be vetted and brought into America.  NOW, this is NOT verified as of yet, at least, I haven't seen a SOLID source for it.  BUT, you mean to tell me, we are going to use two YEARS to bring them here?  Well, what are they going to do for that two years?  Why not assist them in rebuilding, funding, and supplying a new start?  There is NO difference in their land, and our land.  There is no difference in them starting over there, and starting over here.  Not when it comes to possible threats against them.  Also, when people say "well, redistribute/relocate the way money is used and spent, and you'll be able to do it just fine."  Such an EASY "solution" to something that is far more than just changing ONE little thing to resolve it all.  HOWEVER, IF, IF we were able to support, fund, and do this with a stable ground.  I would have a completely different view.  If we had the capability, funds, resources, and more...  I would be all FOR bringing more people here!

If someone could PLEASE convince me otherwise, PLEASE do so!  NO, this is not a GAME, nor a TROLLING, nor ANYTHING of that nature...  I honestly and truly do want to help them more than I am (donations, volunteering, petitions, etc), but I want to make sure I'm not going to hurt others in the process.  I would LOVE to help, I would LOVE to donate more, to volunteer, to do what ever I possibly can.  But I SERIOUSLY don't want to harm others in the process.  If we can't support the people we have now, how can we expect to help more?  How is it not cruel to give more people hope, then just take it away once they get here and realize, it was all a big lie?  IT'S NOT RIGHT!!!
